A total of 130 companies in New Jersey made the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing privately held firms in the U.S.
Now in its 18th year, the ranking aims to spotlight independent businesses that have created thousands of jobs and brought in millions in revenue.
According to the newest compilation, the ventures on this year’s list recorded 169% median growth, added $300.7 billon to the nation’s economy and employed 1.1 million workers.
To determine rankings, the business publication evaluated percentage revenue growth from 2021–2024. To qualify, entrants must be: U.S. based; founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021. They must also be a privately held, for-profit, independent entity with a minimum revenue of $100,000 for 2021 and $2 million for 2024.

Garden State gainers
Bridgewater-based JAG Physical Therapy President and CEO John Gallucci Jr.celebrated his brand’s sixth consecutive appearance on the list. He said it highlights “the impact we are making every day.”
This year, Jag came in at No. 3,779.
“Our growth isn’t just reflected in numbers. It’s measured in the trust of our patients, the commitment of our JAG Physical Therapy teams and the partnerships we’ve built across the Northeast region,” said Gallucci, whose company has grown to 170 clinic locations.
Matt Cifelli, founder of Shrewsbury-headquartered Attain Physical Therapy, shared, “To be named No. 755 on the Inc. 5000 is such a profound honor. It reflects the dedication and passion of our entire team.”
Cifelli went on to say the Inc. 5000 debut “shows that when you invest in people like our therapists, patients, and community partners, you can grow in a way that uplifts lives and transforms care. Violet PR in Montclair marked its second year in a row on the list with its No. 3,090 ranking.
