Cowboy Up Dance and BBQ
What: Come celebrate Carbondale’s Western heritage and annual local fundraiser. Live music, local cuisine, live & silent auction and mechanical bull.
When: Friday, Aug. 23 from 6-10 p.m.

Bach to Bluegrass 2024: Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra’s Annual Fundraiser
What: This delightful evening of melody and merriment features a classical performance by the music directors of the RFYO, then moves outside for a Mt. Sopris sunset, sweetened by the sounds of The Sopris Mountain Boys. A few talented young RFYO musicians will surely make cameo appearances, too. All proceeds support the Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra, providing invaluable music education to our youth for 14 years.
When: Friday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Ladies’ Hike – Grizzly Creek (40s and 50s)
What: Come along with us on our monthly Ladies hikes! Connect with ladies at the same stage of life as you and start building a community of local friends. These hikes are meant for meeting new people and helping you find friends to hang out with on a regular basis. We always have a great time looking at the views, taking photos, chatting, and laughing together. Every hike brings a mix of new people, which makes it a really welcoming group to be in. This group social hike is for women between the ages of 40s and 50s.
When: Saturday, Aug. 24 from 9:45 a.m. to noon.

Raftoberfest
What: Raftoberfest is a one-of-a-kind event in Colorado where guided raft trips down the Colorado River are followed by a beer festival with our partner, Whitewater Rafting LLC in Glenwood Springs, CO. Participants spend a half day (3 hours) rafting before heading to the boathouse for an outdoor party with music, drinks, games, dinner, and silent auction. This year marks the 6th annual Raftoberfest!
When: Saturday, Aug. 24 from 1:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: Whitewater Rafting LLC, 2000 Devereux Road in Glenwood Springs.
