Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center releases new seasons | Arts & Entertainment

A spoonful of sugar, rain on your wedding day and a feminist version of Sherlock Holmes.

Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College’s new 2025-2026 theater season, which includes a couple of Tony Award winners, is built around the theme of wellness, as are the museum’s upcoming exhibits.

“We’ll share tales of navigating family dynamics, building new friendships and a flying caregiver,” said FAC producing artistic director Chris Sheley in a news release. “The goal is to cultivate joy for everyone in our community.”

The new season kicks off Sept. 18 with “Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson, Apt. 2B,” Kate Hamill’s 2022 comedy that reimagines Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic male characters as women.

Tony Award-winning musical “Mary Poppins” and Tony and Grammy Award-winning jukebox musical “Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill: The Musical,” along with Jen Silverman’s 2015 drama, “The Roommate,” will be interspersed with two children’s shows in the Second Stage Season, which includes Creede Repertory Theatre’s production of “Raquel’s Purple Pineapple Adventures.”
