I know you two have the most adorable love story. You really do like you were high school sweethearts. You know, he talked me into it. Is that right? You finally taught her to marry me. How long did that take? 13 years? Really? Now, here you are. Well, ok. So from your perspective, do you, is this just kind of old hat? Now? Is it just fun to kind of come to these things? It’s all part of your life now, right? Yeah, it is. I think the funnest part is going to fittings and picking out what we’re gonna wear and how hard are you on him about what he wears? It’s not *** lot easier though. Yeah, I’ve worn him down. I have to veto some things they come in with too much color. It’s like, uh, you know, this is fancy though. This is I appreciate about as fancy as I get. All right. So let’s talk about the C MA awards tonight. What are we looking forward to the most? Man? Always the, the performances outside of that. Just watching my pretty wife move around, turn everybody’s head. It makes my day. He’s *** charmer. Let’s talk about some of the other, uh, people that are gonna be here. This is one of the things that I always hear about from the country community. It does seem like *** family. You guys really do seem to love each other. Who do you look forward to the most seeing tonight? You know, it’s crazy because we all tour together, you know, and, and you have tours that you go out and then you don’t see each other for, for years, especially us. We live in Georgia. You know, we still live where we, where we grew up and loves tours that and, and, uh, so, you know, this is one of the only times we get to see people that we toured with in the past. So, really everybody, it’s just *** chance to catch up and seems like every time, every time you bump somebody’s show, it’s somebody you’ve either played with or done *** song with or done *** tour with. So it’s just ***, it’s an awesome environment, family environment and we enjoy it. Are you looking forward to some of the performances tonight? Oh, always, always. It’s always fun to see what somebody’s bringing to the table, you know, and *** lot of people premiere songs and, and that kind of thing. So it’s, it’s cool to see what, what the next step is in the genre and, and kind of see what everybody’s up to. Will you tell us what you’re doing. Oh, yes, ma’am. We are, we’ve been working on *** record for the past two years and uh we’re getting ready to put that out. Um As well as the first single off that record, which is uh my first duet. Um It’s actually *** story about us. The song is, um but the duet is with uh Miss Lindsay Ale. So we’re really excited about that. Oh, yeah. She seems very excited about putting that out and doing everything else that you guys are doing. Back to this love story we keep talking about. I wanna know how, how do you look your year into it? How do you keep the spark alive? What do you do to kind of, you know, keep the romance going? I think you have to keep dating each other, like your spouse, right. Yeah. So that, yeah. Simple as that. What’s your idea? What do you, what do you, what’s your idea? I don’t know if it’s that simple. Yeah, I just listen. Listen, that is an excellent answer. Ok. I lied to you. I try to listen. Country singer Brantley Gilbert described this past Friday as “the craziest night” of his life, and it’s one he is sure to never forget. Gilbert was in the middle of a concert in Tupelo, Mississippi, when he was pulled away for an emergency backstage. His wife, Amber, was going into labor. Amber gave birth to their son on the singer’s tour bus. “Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget,” the singer wrote on social media. After spending some time with the newest member of his family, Gilbert went back on stage to finish the concert.
